Mundane Moments of Courage

How would having more courage change your life?

What comes to mind when you hear the word courage?  You might think about firefighters, police officers or war heroes.  But  how often do you use the word courage to describe yourself?  Courage is something we all need.  Our days are filled with so many moments of mundane courage.

  • The courage to have boundaries.
  • The courage to speak kindly even though you don’t want to.
  • The courage to not gossip.
  • The courage to be vulnerable about your thoughts and feelings.
  • The courage to love honestly.
  • The courage to be patient.
  • The courage to listen to feedback, especially feedback that may be critical.

These mundane moments of courage deplete and drain our energy.  Courage needs to be replenished each and every day.
