3 Mindsets To Have When Facing Negativity

Each of us experience negativity everyday.  This negativity can come from any number of sources, therefore it is vital to be prepared beforehand.  Our mindset determines how we will think, feel and behave.  Our brain filters and processes the negativity to mobilize us to action.  In negative situations, our mindset will either help move us to action for more positive living or keep us trapped in the negativity. It all depends on our mindset.  Here are 3 mindsets and 6 affirmations to move you to positivity in the face of negativity.

Past mindset

  1. I have survived and thrived when I have faced difficulty in the past.
  2. I have learned that complaining and negativity keep me trapped to be less than I am created to be.
  3. I choose to believe the truth of my self-worth not the lies formed from past experiences.

Present mindset

  1. I have been created with extraordinary G.U.T.S. (gifts, uniqueness, talents and strengths) that I can use to creatively solve challenges.
  2. I am connected deeply to my core values and true self, which help me face negativity with strength and courage
  3. My “Why” (purpose for living) is a lot more powerful than this challenge.

Future mindset

  1. I have a clear and compelling vision for my life that energizes me to stay positive no matter what I face.
  2. I see myself  “wowing” those who I come in contact with my positivity.
  3. I will make it through this because everything comes to an end at some point.
